Wearable Technologies Conference: gate als Medienpartner bei Award Ceremony der Innovation World Cup Series

Parallel zur Ispo hat kürzlich die WT | Wearable Technologies Conference EUROPE in München stattgefunden. Das zweitägige Event hat nicht nur die Zukunft der Wearables für die Bereiche Sport und Fitness beleuchtet, sondern auch bahnbrechende Technologien aus anderen Marktbereichen (beispielsweise Gesundheit und A.I.) sowie neue Technologien für zukünftige Anwendungsbereiche vorgestellt. Das gate Garching unterstützte die Wearable Technologies Conference auch dieses Jahr wieder als Medienpartner und gate-Geschäftsführer Christian Heckemann war bei der Award Ceremony der Innovation World Cup Series vor Ort, bei der knapp 30 Startups ihre innovativen Produkte und Prototypen vorstellten.

Coming from all over the world, 28 young companies and techpreneurs presented their extremely innovative and groundbreaking products on stage at the pitch and award ceremony of the IOT / WT Innovation World Cup 2018. AI glasses assisting blind and visually impaired, an intelligent game ball improving your stress level, smart shoes saving the worker´s life, fashion headpieces capturing your brain data, and many more great solutions took the stage. The finalists of the leading open innovation competition for IoT and wearables solutions demonstrated the vitality and innovation happening today in the industry. But only seven Wearables World Champions 2018 made the race in the four categories ‘Lifestyle’, ‘Sports & Fitness’, ‘Healthcare’, and ‘Industrial’, as well as in the EBV IoT Hero Special Prize, the Geeny Connected Living Challenge and the AIQ Smart Clothing Challenge.
